General Liability

The purpose of general liability insurance coverage is to protect the church, or extension ministry, and its agents against civil liability for bodily injury, property damage, or personal injury to others.  This coverage is for the protection of the corporate entity, its officers, employees, clergy, and volunteers for their actions on behalf of the organization.  Our policies provide coverage for monetary damages the organization becomes legally obligated to pay because of an accident during the policy term that causes unexpected, unintended bodily injury, property damage, or personal injury to someone else.

Questions to consider:

Do you know who is protected by your General Liability policy?

Does it cover volunteers as well as employees for their actions on your organization’s behalf?
